The Senior Band at Scout's school performed at the Rotundra at Balmoral Beach on Sunday as part of the local festival. She's playing the bass clarinet in the band but still having lessons on clarinet.

The wind was blowing a gale and the music just didn't want to stay on the stand.

Here she is, with a group of her friends, posing with two of local constabulary. She's standing here with Isabelle (to her left), Katie, Stephanie, Maire and Harriet.

But, alas, her good behaviour bond expired just at the wrong time. They start a life of crime so young ...

She's Confirmed!

Earlier this month, Scout was confirmed at Sacred Heart. Here she is with Bishop Anthony Fischer and Kathryn, her sponsor and one of her godmothers. Scout chose St Rose of Lima, the first American saint, as her saint so her confirmation name is Rose.

Scout was confirmed at the same mass as her friends Maire and Aoife (pronounced 'Moy-ra' and 'Ee-fa').
